  • Improvement of engineering and environmental surveys in the survey of radon pollution

The article is devoted to improving the processing of radon flux density measurement data using mathematical processing. The article considers the influence of construction works on the radon flux density (RDP) indicators. for the purpose of the study, real measurements were taken at a mining and processing plant in the volgograd region. The article presents the construction of histograms and frequency polygons for measurements performed at different stages, as well as graphs of the empirical distribution function of a random variable. They clearly showed the impact of construction, the hypothesis of the influence of clay soils on the radon output from the soil was confirmed, namely, it was proved that the permeability of the near-surface layer of soil is one of the key factors determining the spatial PPR within homogeneous areas, that is, the permeability of near-surface deposits is one of the leading factors determining the distribution of PPR. analysis of the obtained results allows us to conclude that there is a correlation between the calculated data obtained and the data obtained at the measurement input, i.e. relationship of two or more random variables.

  • To improve devices for cleaning emissions of gas stations of hydrocarbon vapors while reducing waste generation to improve the environmental safety of residential areas

The article is devoted to the issue of improving devices for cleaning gas station emissions from hydrocarbon vapors to improve the environmental safety of inhabitant zones and territories of residential development. It is known that emissions of benzene vapors belonging to the second hazard class have a significant problem in terms of exceeding the maximum permissible concentrations at the borders of the sanitary protection zones of gas stations and nearby residential buildings. The largest part of the release of gasoline vapors entering the local aspiration systems is associated with the filling and emptying of fuel storage tanks at gas stations. To reduce emissions from gas station sources, it is proposed to use absorption-type devices in gasoline vapor recovery units. The article presents the results of experiments on a pilot - industrial plant set up with an apparatus for cleaning gas station emissions from benzene and other hydrocarbon vapors using a solution of a mixture of natural sodium-magnesium salts. As a liquid sorbent in such devices, it was proposed to use waste water from a gas station purification device in order to reduce the additional amount of waste generated during their operation. Based on the results of processing the experimental data, a graphical dependence and regression equations were obtained. The areas of aerohydrodynamic regimes at which the highest efficiency is achieved for the parameters of the apparatus of the studied modification are determined. This approach also makes it possible to reduce the negative technogenic impact of gas stations in terms of the generation of additional waste. The successful tests carried out have shown the reliable and efficient operation of the pilot plant set up with the proposed device.

  • Development of a dynamic model of the electric drive of the Earth orientation device scanning mechanism

The article reveals the results of the work carried out on modeling the dynamic model of the electric drive of the scanning mechanism of the Earth orientation device, which is based on a hybrid stepping motor. The simulation is based on NEMA 17HS3410 motor parameters. A brief description and features of hybrid stepper motors are provided. The simplest model of an electric drive is considered, in which there is a rigidly set moment of force, a moment of inertia of the rotor of an electric motor, and also the moments of dry friction and the moment of liquid friction are taken into account. It is shown how the change in the value of fluid friction affects the general behavior of the mathematical model of a hybrid electric motor. The behavior of a single-pole stepper drive is simulated. The relationship of the value of the moment of force acting on the rotor with the passport characteristics of the investigated electric motor is considered. The possibility of controlling the scanning mechanism based on P- and PI-controllers is estimated.

  • Designing the style of managing organizational conflicts on simulation models

This article considers the option of using a simulation model in organizational conflict management as an intelligent analyzer of a conflict situation. It is proposed to build its own style of leadership, necessary and sufficient to successfully overcome the organizational conflict. Based on the model forecast, the manager constructs an appropriate solution within the framework of the variability of authoritarian, democratic and liberal styles of government with the help of the auxiliary variables available to him. This allows him not only to get out of the usual style of leadership, but also to choose the necessary and sufficient style in this case, to test style behavior strategies. The manager has the opportunity to use the management style that best suits the internal and external conditions of his activities. Today, managers must meet the emerging problems and the ability to solve them effectively with their stylistic variability.

  • Transformable and collapsible volumetric modular units used in construction

The paper argues for the relevance of using volumetric modular units (VMU) in construction, especially in building temporary field camps. Despite a high installation technology intensity, the use of VMUs is said to demonstrate a low technology intensity in terms of transport operations. In order to ensure a high transport flexibility for temporary settlements, collapsible volumetric modular units are suggested as a potent solution.
