  • Calculation of the pipe-base-embankment system as a frictional contact problem

    The article deals with the solution of the problem of unilateral frictional contact on the example of an arched culvert in the embankment. Unilateral contact is modeled as a linear complementarity problem, which is solved using the Lemke method. The features of solving such problems are shown. A comparison with modern approaches is given, the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed method are indicated.

  • Cyber physical system for managing a squad of road machines in infrastructure projects of road transport

    Compaction is one of the most important technological processes in in the asphalt (AC) pavement construction. Joint management of asphalt pavers and several rollers, allowing each roller to seal the road layer most efficiently with optimal compaction modes to ensure the required compaction quality, is an unsolved problem. To solve this problem, on the basis of modern achievements of scientific and technological progress, a cyberphysical system is proposed as an organizational and technical concept of information flow management. The structure of the system for monitoring and controlling the compaction of AC mixtures with a set of pavers – road rollers is proposed. The development of a cyberphysical road construction system makes it possible, based on digitalization, to effectively manage several road vehicles on the construction sites of road transport infrastructure projects for joint and adaptive compaction.

  • A mathematical model for managing the reliability of an intelligent video surveillance system at protected facilities of the Penal System

    The paper considers a model for managing the reliability of an intelligent video surveillance system of a protected object. To build a model of the operation of a security television system with video analytics modules, a scheme of a multiphase queuing system was used. The process of constructing a computer model for evaluating the quality indicators of processing information entering the system is described. The given computer model provides an opportunity to assess the reliability of the system in question in a wide range of parameters and can be used in the design, operation and modernization of intelligent video surveillance systems to increase their reliability and ensure the possibility of making effective management decisions.

  • Neural network image analysis in agriculture using a SaaS system

    In a number of branches of agricultural production, including agriculture, land reclamation, etc., there are problems, the solution of which requires the use of artificial intelligence. In particular, the assessment of the reclamation state of agricultural fields in large areas is a very time-consuming task, even with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles. To automate these intelligent approaches, it is effective to use artificial neural networks (INS) implemented in the form of computer programs. The use of software as a service (SaaS) is a modern approach to computer support of various intelligent production processes, including agricultural. Agriculture is a promising industry for the introduction of such technologies. The aim of the study is to develop a methodology and create a cloud-based SaaS system for identifying defective areas of agricultural fields based on INS. The development of neural network technologies and cloud services makes it possible to process a large amount of information in the cloud and provide user access to computing power. The article describes the methodology of building a service architecture for recognizing problem areas of cultivated agricultural fields, data preparation, network training, development of client and server parts. Such implementation is possible with the use of such technologies and tools as CUDA, CNN, PyTorch. As a result, the strengths and weaknesses of their use for solving the problem of image recognition on the example of problem areas of agricultural fields were identified. It has been established that classification-type INS are capable of solving problems of recognizing the reclamation state of fields, and modern information technologies make it possible to transfer calculations to the cloud, while the cloud service can be monetized as a SaaS model.

  • Development of a deep neural network for segmentation of problem areas of agricultural fields

    Artificial intelligence methods can be used to solve the problems of agricultural production. Assessing the condition of crops in large areas, even with the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, is a time-consuming task. The peculiarities of the task of such an assessment are the multifactorial nature of the analyzed structures, which require the use of a systematic approach at all stages of the study from the formation of a database of color images to the intelligent solution of problems of their analysis. The results of the analysis of the U-net architecture of the INS and its limitations for the problem of image segmentation are presented. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the architecture of the segmentation artificial neural network (INS) to identify problem areas of agricultural fields. The hypothesis of the segmentation network advantage was tested on the DeepLabV3 ResNet50 architecture. Numerical experiments have established that the increase in the accuracy of segmentation of images of agricultural fields is constrained by the limited resolution and accuracy of manual markup dataset. The built architectures can be used as an algorithmic core for creating SaaS systems, while the performance of the used configuration of the INS can be crucial.

  • Application of expert data in the construction of a regression model for assessing the level of security of information carriers

    A review of publications by Russian and foreign researchers on the issues of modeling the process of assessing the degree of security of individual components of an informatization object (automated system) is presented. The main factors influencing the level of security are analyzed. The types of objects of unauthorized influence are given. The choice of the “information carrier” as the main generalized object and the list of actual threats to it are substantiated, their brief analysis is given. As the output (dependent) variable of the developed regression model, the level of information carrier security is determined. The input (independent) variables are the degree of danger of threats: illegal access to protected information; unauthorized copying of protected information; overcoming physical protection; loss of carriers of information. The developed model has the form of a regression equation and can be used to predict the level of security of information carriers.

  • Theoretical model of a millimeter-wave oscillator based on resonant tunneling diodes and numerical simulation of the synchronization band

    The paper proposes a theoretical model of self-oscillators based on resonant tunneling diodes. Numerical modeling of the synchronization band of the oscillator was carried out on its basis. The effect of spreading resistance and resonator inductance on the synchronization band is analyzed. It is shown that at a low quality factor, as well as taking into account the nonlinearity of the capacitance and auto-bias, the frequency characteristics of the self-oscillator will be asymmetric and the instability regions of synchronous stationary oscillations will have a complex shape.

  • Methodology for correcting the trajectory of a multicopter-type unmanned aerial vehicle

    This article discusses a new method for adjusting the ground speed of a multicopter-type unmanned aerial vehicle and the initial, previously planned trajectory of its movement, taking into account horizontal stationary wind flows. The use of this technique for local rescheduling of the trajectories being worked out makes it possible to reduce the probability of loss of stability and controllability of such a device, as well as to reduce energy costs when driving in conditions of significant winds with an acceptable deviation from the initial trajectory. The developed algorithm is the basis for the synthesis of more accurate algorithms for local correction of the initial trajectory of motion in a complex field of wind speeds. The efficiency of the algorithm is confirmed by the physical correctness of the simulation results.

  • Development of a method for searching for clinical trials by including factors

    The results of clinical trials are the main source of information in the implementation of medical activities in accordance with the principles of evidence-based medicine. At the moment, there are no information systems that would allow a doctor to select clinical studies within the framework of nosology that best match the profile of a particular patient, in order to further analyze their results and select therapy. The aim of the study was to improve the existing process of searching for clinical trials by using the prioritization method according to the inclusion criteria set by the doctor during the selection. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were implemented, namely, the process of selecting and searching for clinical trials by doctors was studied and the method of searching for clinical trials by doctors and the allocation of the necessary criteria was worked out. The team of authors proposed an algorithm for searching for clinical trials according to inclusion criteria, which in turn will significantly increase the effectiveness and reduce the time for searching and choosing therapy.

  • Mathematical modeling of the destruction of a soil monolith by a deep miner with a given degree of crumbling

    Modern methods of determining the parameters of the tool do not take into account all the features of deep loosening, first of all, such important indicators of the quality of soil decompression as the degree of crumbling and the configuration of the loosening zone. Therefore, the search for a solution to the problem of assessing the quality of soil decompression at the design stage, depending on the parameters of the working bodies of the deep miner and the specified physical and mechanical characteristics of the soil is an urgent task. The aim of the work is to develop an algorithm for assessing the influence of the parameters of the upper reformers on the quality of crumbling and the loosening zone based on modern mathematical and simulation modeling technologies. This is achieved by developing a method for determining the parameters of the loosening elements of the deep miner on the basis of modeling the processes of interaction of loosening elements with the soil, taking into account factors that determine the quality of decompression and the energy intensity of the decompression process of the cultivated soil.

  • Investigation of fuel efficiency of concrete mixers in urban operating conditions based on the construction of a driving cycle taking into account the filtering of GPS data

    Global Positioning System (GPS) data acquisition devices have proven to be useful tools for collecting real-world motion data. The data collected by these devices provide valuable information when studying the vehicle movement parameters. For vehicle modeling, this data is invaluable for analyzing fuel consumption and vehicle performance. The study presents a methodology for developing the driving cycle of special cars, during which the speed profile of a particular type of vehicle is studied, loaded and processed, and noisy data is filtered for the purity of the experiment. The test data for severe operating conditions are analyzed. A city driving cycle has been developed for a special truck concrete mixer truck in the conditions of the city of Tyumen. Estimated fuel economy of the specified vehicle is estimated.

  • Analysis of the possibility of replacing a monolithic frame with a prefabricated-monolithic frame during the construction of a residential multi-storey building

    The article considers the possibility of replacing a monolithic frame with a precast-monolithic frame during the construction of a residential apartment building. The variety of structural systems erected in the Russian Federation for residential and public buildings is given. The positive and negative aspects of each of the proposed methods are considered. An economic justification for replacing a monolithic frame with a precast-monolithic one is given. Based on the results obtained, conclusions were drawn about the effectiveness of the use of prefabricated monolithic systems for the construction of civil buildings.

  • Volumetric modeling of a microwave liquid heater

    This work is devoted to modeling the absorption of microwave electromagnetic field energy in a device for milk pasteurization. Using CAD FEKO, a 3D model of the device was built and its operation was simulated. A study was made of the influence of the tilt angle of quartz tubes on the distribution of the electromagnetic field in the waveguide. The influence of the diameter and material of the tubes is also considered. The distributions of the electric field and the specific power absorbed per kg of dielectric in the waveguide are obtained. The accuracy of the results was assessed.

  • Visualization of a parametric architecture object integrated into an urban environment

    The unique building of the Center for Science and Art is modeled as a variant of the complex development of the territory of the old hippodrome in Rostov-on-Don. The analysis of the formation of vertical external communication parametric structures for a spherical object is performed. Based on the results of the consideration of ten forms, a rational form of "Turban" was determined, which retains a constant comfortable slope, and in emergency situations can go into autonomous mode while maintaining the rigidity of the structure. Visualization of the object's integration into the urban environment was carried out in Rhino 3D using the Grasshopper visual programming language program. By combining specialized years, modeling of roads and the volumetric geometry of buildings, the object of study, zoning and reading information from the surrounding area was carried out. The resulting model allows us to evaluate the aesthetics and comfort of the urban environment in the case of construction of a new facility.
